Q1.How is refractive index of medium A with respect to medium B related to speed of light of propagation of light in two media A and B.
Q2. A glass prism is able to produce a spectrum when white light passes through it but a glass slab does not produce any spectrum. Explain why is it so?

Refractive Index is inversely proportional to Speed. As the refractive index will increase, the speed will decrease and vice-versa.

Q.2
A glass prism is able to produce spectrum as the pieces of glass are arranged in such a angle, that when the light will pass through angle at which the light will refract and it will split into spectrum.
