1. Those numbers that can be written in p/q form are called rational numbers. There are 2 types of rational numbers - terminating and non terminating recurring. Eg.1/2,3/4,etc.
2.Positive rational numbers are said to be when both the numerator and the denominator is either negative or positive.
Negative rational number are said to be when either the numerator or the denominator are negative.
