(2) Right to Freedom of Religion.
A3. Merits of electoral competition are:-
(1) If there is no electoral competition then elections will become pointless.
(2) Electoral competition provides incentives to political parties and candidates as they understand what people want.They know that if they raise issues that people want to raise then their chances of victory in the next election will increase.
(3) Electoral competition may cause divisions and dirt in society but finally forces the government/political parties and candidates to serve for their country and people.
