By Pythagoras theorem,

(Diagonal)²=l²+b²

= 40²+30²

= 1600+900= 2500

(Diagonal)²=2500

Diagonal=50 m

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

According to Pythagoras' Theorem a² + b² = c²,

\sqrt{40^2 + 30^2} = \sqrt{1600 + 900} = \sqrt{2500} = 50

The answer is 50 m.
