Given

A)
R=14mm

Area of circle
 = \pi \:  {r}^{2}

=22/7 x 14²

=22x2x14

=44x14

=616mm²

(If u r asking About semicircle, then divide it with 2. U didn't mention about which laminas area)

B)
D=49m

R=D/2

=49/2m

Area of circle
 = \pi {r}^{2}

=22/7 x( 49/2)²

=22x7/2x49/2

=11x7x49/2

=3773/2 m²

=1886.5m²

This is ur ans hope it will help you in case of any doubt comment below

Answer:

a. 616mm²

b.1,886.5m²

Step-by-step explanation:

a. area of the circle is = pi ×r²

                                      = 22/7 × 14 ×14

                                      = 22×14×2

                                      = 44×14

                                      = 616 mm²

b. radius = diameter / 2

               = 49/2

               = 24.5

   Area of the circle= pi × r²

                                  = 22/7×24.5×24.5

                                  =77 × 24.5

                                  = 1,886.5 m²
