a1x+b1y+c1=0

a2x+b2y+c2=0

where,

a1=3,b1= -1,c1= -5 and,

a2=6,b2= -2, c2= K

a1/a2=b1/b2 is not equal to c1/c2

3/6=-1/-2 is not equal to-5/k

1/2=1/2 is not equal to-5/k

1/2 is not equal to-5/k

by cross multiply we get,

k is not equal to -10

hence the value of k is -10
