\Huge\sf\implies On selling a watch for ₹11400, a shopkeeper loses 5℅ . For how much did he purchase it?

\bold{Solution} :

Let the cost price be x

Loss is 5% after selling it on price of Rs.11400

\small\boxed\tt\color{black}{According\:to\: Question}

 \tt \: x - \frac{5}{100} \:×\:x\:=\: 11400

\Huge\sf\implies  \tt \:x - \frac{5x}{100}\:=\:11400

\Huge\sf\implies  \tt \:x - \frac{x}{20}\:=\:11400

\Huge\sf\implies  \tt \: \frac{20-x}{20}\:=\:11400

\Huge\sf\implies  \tt \: \frac{19x}{20}\:=\:11400

\Huge\sf\implies  \tt \:x \:= \frac{11400×20}{19}

\Huge\sf\implies  \tt \:x \:= \frac{228000}{19}

\\Huge\sf\implies  \boxed{x\: = \:12000}

Hence , CP of watch is 12000

Loss = 600

Find the angles of a triangle which are in the ratio 4:3:2

Solution :

Angles of triangle are in ratio :

\Huge\sf\implies 4 : 3 : 2

According to angle sum property sum of angles of triangle is 180°

Let,

  • {Angle (1) be 4x
  • Angle (2) be 3x
  • Angle (3) be 2x

Therefore ,

\Huge\sf\implies 4x + 3x + 2x = 180°

\Huge\sf\implies 9x = 180°

\Huge\sf\implies x = \frac{180°}{9}

\Huge\sf\implies x = 20°

Therefore,

\boxed{Angle\: (1)  \: = \:4 \:× \:20° \:=\: 80°}

\boxed{Angle\: (2) \:= \:3\: × \:20°\: =\: 60°}

\boxed{Angle\: (3)\: = \:2 \:×\: 20 \:=\: 40°}

Hence , angles of triangle are 80°, 60°, 40° respectively.

\huge\colorbox{white}{ \colorbox{white}{\colorbox{white}{Question}}}

One side of a triangle is produced and the exterior angle so formed is 120°. If the interior opposite angles be in the ratio of 3:5, find the measure of each angle of a triangle.

Solution :

One exterior angle is equals to sum of two interior angles .

Interior angles are in ratio of 3:5

Exterior angle formed is 120°

Therefore,

\Huge\sf\implies 3x + 5x = 120°

\Huge\sf\implies 8x = 120°

\Huge\sf\implies x = \frac{120}{8}

\Huge\sf\implies 15°

Therefore,

\boxed{Angle\: (1)\: = \:3 \:×\: 15 \:=\: 45°}

\boxed{Angle\: (2)\: =\: 5 \:× \:15\: = \:60°}

(1) Loss is of ₹600 and CP is 12000

(2) Angle (1) = 80°

Angle (2) = 60°

Angle (3) = 40°

(3) Angle (1) = 45°

Angle (2) = 60°
