I have been driving this car since January.

e. How long have you not seen her ?

I have not seen her for a week .

Since and For

For can be used with any tense . Also amount of time does not need to be exact for the usage of for in a sentence .

Example

  • I have been using Brainly for a long time .
  • He used to study for almost 10 hours a day.
  • Will he be back for taking his revengue.

Since is used to refer to a point of time . It is used to show something that is still continuing .

Example

  • I have been using Brainly since last year .
  • He is studying since 5 am in the morning .
