u = 10 m / s.

v = 0 at max height.

Therefore,

v - u = - 2gh

0 - 10 =-( 2 × 10 × h)

10 =20h

h = 0.5 m

The time taken:-

v - u = -gt

(v - u)/-g = t

0 - 10/(-10)= t

t = 1 s
