Given 2i cap,

Therefore

2 units along x axis

And also given 3j cap

Which is 3 units along y axis

Therefore 2 I cap + 3 j cap becomes the resultant,

And so if we take theta as the angle with y axis

Tan theta = p / b = 3/2 = theta = 3/2 tan -1 answer....
