Answer:

Given:-

Find the product of \frac{3}{8} and the reciprocal of - \ \frac{5}{11} .

To Find:-

The product of given values.

Note:-

Here, Product means multiplication and reciprocal means the inverse of a number. For example - \frac{y}{1} inverse to \frac{1}{y} .

Solution:-

According to note first point~

▪︎ \frac{3}{8} × ( reciprocal \ \ of \ \ - \ \frac{5}{11} )

▪︎ \frac{3}{8} × - \ \frac{11}{5}

After doing multiplication~

▪︎ - \ \frac{33}{40}

Here, it can't become in lowest term, so it will remain as same~

▪︎ - \ \frac{33}{40}

 \huge\pink{\frac{3}{8} × reciprocal \ \ of \ \ - \ \frac{5}{11} = - \ \frac{33}{40}}

Answer:-

Hence, the product of  \frac{3}{8} and the reciprocal of  - \ \frac{5}{11} is =  - \ \frac{33}{40} .
