Dear Student,

◆ Answer -

dH/dt = 1250 J/s

● Explaination -

# Given -

R = 200 ohm

I = 2.5 A

# Solution -

Rate of production of heat in a coil is given by -

dH/dt = (I²Rt)/t

dH/dt = I²R

dH/dt = 2.5² × 200

dH/dt = 6.25 × 200

dH/dt = 1250 J/s

Therefore, heat will be produced in the coil at the rate of 1250 J/s.

Thanks dear...
