In triangle ABC

ML ll BC    (given)

so, AM/MB = AL/LC ------equation 1 [BPT]

In triangle ADC

NL ll DC    (given)

so, AN/ND = AL/LC ------equation 2 [BPT]

From equation 1 and equation 2

AM/MB = AL/LC =AN/ND

AM/MB = AN/ND

AM/AB = AN/AD [extension of BPT]
