ANSWER :
Option (c) is a fit case for imposition of President’s rule in the State.
Reason:
When no political party has secured majority in the election of the State Legislative Assembly and there are chances of some MLA’S from the other parties may be lured to support a political party in return for money, then President's rule can be imposed in a state. But there should be a substantial proof of horse trading. After the 4th general election in many states President's rule was imposed due to the problem of defection and lack of clear majority in the Assembly.
