 \huge \underline \mathfrak {Solution:-}

C.P. for one dozen oranges = ₹24

S.P for 5 oranges = ₹15

SP for 1 orange = 15/5

= ₹3

Now, we have to calculate S.P. for 1 dozen oranges.

SP per dozen of oranges = 12 × 3

= ₹36

Profit = S.P. - C.P.

= 36 - 24

= ₹12

Profit % = Profit / CP × 100

= 12/24 × 100

= 50%

SO, THE PROFIT IS OF 50%.

Solution:-

Given:-

C.P. for one dozen oranges = ₹24

S.P for 5 oranges = ₹15

=) SP for 1 orange = 15/5

=) S.P for 1 orange = ₹3

Now,

SP of 1 Dozon Orange = 12 × 3

SP of 1 Dozen Orange = ₹36

We know that,

Profit = S.P. - C.P.

Profit = 36 - 24

Profit = ₹12

Hence,

Profit % = Profit / CP × 100

=)! 12/24 × 100

=) 50%
