23) Let the breadth be x. So length is 2x.

The perimeter is 150. We know the formula for perimeter of a rectangle is 2(l+b)

so, 2(x+2x)= 150

2x+4x=150

6x=150

x= 25

So breadth is 25m and length is 50m

24) Let the number of boys be x. So number of girls will be 6x.

Total number of students is 49 so

x+6x=49

7x=49

x=7

So there are 7 boys and 42 girls
