let the number of cubes be x

then

volume of cuboid=x(volume of one cube).....EQ1

volume of cuboid=(18×12×9)m^3

volume of one cube=(3^3)m^3

SO from EQ1

Number of cubes {x}=(18×12×9)/27

=18×4

=72
