Your mindset
If you always think you will vomit during travelling naturally you will be in the same thinking through out and your brain will send signals to your body and you might start puking. So stop thinking of it is the first step.
Eating
While travelling do not over eat or donot go with empty stomach , as empty stomach causes more vomiting sensation. So have light food which will keep your stomach full but not over done.
Avoid tea , coffee all other drinks while travelling.
If you are feeling too much sickness you can have chocolates which are sour which might help you reduce that sensation.
Sleep
Ensure to close your eyes and try to sleep as much as possible, as when i travel in the hill stations I tend to sleep and avoid having any feeling of sickness
Sitting position
I urge you to sit in the normal position as you sit on a daily basis which will make you comfortable and avoid discomfort or strain in your body which will keep you body less strained.
Citrus fruits
Lastly carry a lemon with you which might avoid vomiting sensation with that citrusy smell.
