Rahul has been suffering from indigestion .So he consulted a doctor . Doctor suggested him to take curd or buttermilk . Why? Answer plzz

I think there is an excessive amount of acids in Rahul's stomach so the doctor suggest him to take buttermilk and curd because these are bases which will neutralize the acids.
