The surprise visit
Rahul was alone at home. Suddenly the phone rang. He could hear a harsh voice calling him downstairs to open the door. He couldn't recognise the person and got frightened. The voice seemed somewhat familiar. It was raining outside and he was busy with his project work.
He disconnected the call but the phone rang once again. This time he gathered courage and came downstairs. He took a knife along with him to ensure safety. As he proceeded towards the main door, he could hear some whispers. He felt there were some robbers outside and this would be his end.
As he opened the door, he couldn't find anyone. He was quite tensed to react. The phone rang again and this time the instructions were "Turn back". As he turned back, he saw the lights on and to his surprise, it was his parents and sister. After almost 7 years, his family travelled all the way down to his place.
His joy knew no bounds and it was a grand reunion after ages. Rahul had shifted to another country for his job and couldn't visit his family for years. They also brought a cake along with them for his birthday. Rahul missed his own birthday, but this was the best birthday gift for him, indeed.
