Rajas piggy bank is full of one rupee and 50 paise coins it contains three time as many 50 paise and 50 paise coins as one rupees coins the total amount of money in the bank is rupees 35 how many coins of each kind are there in the Piggy Bank​

let us assume that the number of coins of 1 rupee are x

therefore coins of 50 paisa are 3x

amount of 1 rupee coin = 1×x=100x paisa

amount of 50 paisa coins=50×3x=150 paisa

100x+150x=4500

250x=4500

x=18
