amount spent by rajat in 1st week = 2/3

amount spent by rajat in 2nd week = 1/4

let the total amount be 'x'

amount left thereafter will be =

= x - x(2/3) - x(1/4)

=x - 2x/3 -x/4

lcm = 12

= { 12(x) - 4(2x) - 3(x) }/12

= 5x/12

so the amount brought back by him = 5/12
