C.P. of 12 eggs = Rs.3.75

Therefore, C.P. of 1600 eggs

= \( \Large \frac{3.75 \times 1600}{12} \) = Rs.500

S.P. of 900 eggs = \( \Large \frac{1}{2} \times 900 \) = Rs.450

S.P. of remaining 700 eggs

= \( \Large \frac{2}{5} \times 700 \) = Rs.280

Total S.P. = 450 + 280 = Rs.730

Gain = 730 - 500 = Rs.230

Gain percent = \( \Large \frac{230}{500} \times 100 \) = 46%
