ramadin planted 160 tomatoes plants. he said 5% died. how many died? how many lived?​

 5\%of \: 160 \\  =  \frac{50}{100}  \times 160 \\  =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 160 \\  = 80

So,80 tomato plants died...

No. of plants died=5% of 160=5/100*160=8 tomato plants

No. of plants survived=160-8=152 tomato plants
