  • Example – She was called by us for a play.

Rules to change a sentence from active voice to passive voice:

  1. The places of subject and the object should be interchanged with each other.
  2. Pronominal changes also takes place in a way, that the subject pronoun changes to object pronoun.
  3. A suitable helping auxiliary verb should be inserted according to the tense of the sentence.
  4. The form of the verb should be changed to the past participle form.
  5. The preposition "by" should be added before the subject.
