GIVEN :-

Ramesh takes 15 minutes to reach market from his house on his cycle.

Time(t) = 15 mins = 15 × 60 = 900 s

Speed(v) = 4 m/s

TO DETERMINE :-

The distance between the market and his home.

FORMULA TO BE USED :-

Distance = Speed × Time

SOLUTION :-

Putting the known values in the above formula :-

Distance = 4 × 900

⇒Distance = 3600 m

⇒Distance = 3600/1000 km

⇒Distance = 3.6 km

∴ Therefore, the distance between the market and his home is 3.6 km.
