(b) decrease in temperature, because physical adsorption decreases with increase in temperature

adsorption means adhesion of atoms or molecules. in this process solid adsorb a thin layer of gas or liquid on it. while physical adsorption is also called as physisorption.

so rate of physical adsorption increases with increase in temperature and increase of pressure also cause increase of physical adsorption. which means both are directly proportional to each other.
