The tropic movement take place in the plant. Instead of growing straight, the plant growth takes place toward the window, this is because of phototropism. Due to this phenomenon, AUXIN hormone present at the tip of the plant's shoot apex diffuses to backward side of apex from the action of photo(light) stimuli. This lead to excessive growth the of plant shoot at back as compared to front side of shoot. Thus , lead to bending of plant toward the window.
