According to the question,
Let the salary of Ravi be 'Rs.200'.
After the salary being decreased by 50%, the salary =Rs.100(as 50% of Rs. 200 =Rs.100)
Subsequently the salary was raised by 25%, therefore, the salary=Rs.125(as 25% of Rs. 100 =Rs. 25)
Therefore, loss %=(75×100)/200
loss%=37.5%
(as the formula of loss or profit %=(l×100)/c.p.
