Reaction between barium hydroxide and ammonium chloride is endothermic why?????

because in this reaction heat is absorb.......therefore it is endothermic reaction

to break a compound it needs heat so that it can join with more stable atom and hence heat is required for the reaction to form a low energy stable compound
