An addition reaction takes place whenconc. H2SO4 is reacted with
1-Methylcyclohexene. H and HSO4 is added to 1-Methylcyclohexene to form an addition product. The double bond is replaced by single bond and the compound becomes saturated.
The product formed is 1-Methylcyclohexyl hydrogen sulphate.
