Step-by-step explanation:

I)Order pairs from the given graph:

(x,y)

(0,5)

(1,4)

(2,3)

(3,2)

(4,1)

(5,0)

Set of order pairs =

{(0,5)(1,4),(2,3),(3,2),(4,1),(5,0)}

Rule :

y=-x+5

Questions:-

1) From the graph I noticed that the order pair

in the line and write the table the values of abscissae and the ordinates.

2)Write the value of x first and write the value of y next and write the order pair like (x,y)

3)A mapping shows how the elements are paired. Its like a flow chart for a function, showing the input and output values. A mapping diagram consists of two parallel columns. The first column represents the domain of a function , and the other column for its range.

From the graph

4)The rule is y= -x+5

1) If x=0 then the value of y=5

so , 5=-(0)+5

similarly

5=-(0)+5

4=-(1)+5

3=-(2)+5

2=-(3)+5

1=-(4)+5

0=-(5)+5

\large\underline\purple{\bold{Solution :-  }}

\begin{gathered}\boxed{\begin{array}{c|c} \bf x & \bf y \\ \frac{\qquad \qquad}{} & \frac{\qquad \qquad}{} \\ \sf 0 & \sf 5 \\ \\ \sf 1 & \sf 4 \\ \\ \sf 2 & \sf 3 \\ \\ \sf 3 & \sf 2\\ \\ \sf 4 & \sf 1\\ \\ \sf 5 & \sf 0\end{array}} \\ \end{gathered}

Ordered pairs are

Question Answers :-

Answer 1 :-

By mapping the values of x to values of y.

Answer 2 :-

An ordered pair is a composition of the x coordinate (abscissa) and the y coordinate (ordinate), having two values written in a fixed order within parentheses.

Ordered Pair = (x,y)

  Where, x = abscissa, the distance measure of a point from the primary axis “x”

  And, y = ordinate, the distance measure of a point from the secondary axis “y”

Answer 3 :-

A mapping shows how the elements are paired. Its like a flow chart for a function, showing the input and output values. A mapping diagram consists of two parallel columns. The first column represents the domain of a function f , and the other column for its range.

Answer :- 4

The rule is y = - x + 5

Answer :- 5

Since its a line graph.

so let equation of line be y = mx + c

Since (0,5) lies on it.

It implies, 5 = 0 × x + c

It implies, c = 5

Also, (5,0) lies on it

It implies, 0 = 5m + c

It implies, 5m + 5 = 0

It implies, m = - 1

Therefore, the rule is y = - x + 5
