The Party System had numerous challenges. Congress not only destroyed itself, but the separation of congress coalition has put an emphasis on self-representation, its ability to accommodate diverse interests.

(b) The Parties are facing the policy that can aggregate a large variety of interest and can effectively articulate. Example: The party formed under the leadership of Kanshi Ram could able to aggregate Dalits only.

(c) In order to maintain the 'Unity in Diversity' culture of India, it is necessary for every political party to accommodate and aggregate a large variety of interests.
