real india vs swach bharat. Are we civilized enough?

Swach Bharat is a challenge, taking a broom and sweeping the streets on just one day won't help. Apart from us doing our bit, the Government has a major role to play. There are some people like You and me who would not litter the streets and stuff the waste in our bags or pockets to dispose them off later - Why do we do that? Because there are no dustbins around. 100 mts, 200mts, Okay 500 mts, still no bins !! What are the children and people unlike us supposed to do? No wonder they end up littering on streets. 

I personally believe if Swach Bharat needs to be achieved , The Goverment should first provide public bins at at least every 200 mts in the cities, parks, stations and other public places. Proper staff to be provided to dispose the waste in time. Awareness among the children and people. Same thing holds for public toilets. Start with the dustbins,things will change slowly by itself.

Providing all these in all the cities is going to take some time but IS NOT IMPOSSIBLE. If both the Government and the citizens put their words into action, Swach Bharat is not far.
