Hello Jim

Its been a crazy couple of weeks. I had a family member that recently has stayed with me. Now I love this person dearly because he is family. All day he would leave his empty wrappers and other food laying around. He would turn the TV on way to loud when I was trying to work. He sent me a text before he arrived asking if I would be so generous and let him stay at my house. His air conditioner was broken and it is in the middle of summer. I said well of course. I am trying to ask him to please be respectful of my things. He keeps apologizing but I was finally at my wits end. Thankfully as if an angel came floating down from heaven- his airconditiioner was fixed.

Oh what a relief it is. I love him but am happy being alone again

Hope you are well. Say Hi to your dog Marcie and those fast growing kids of yours. Talk to you soon

Dear Aleesha,

I hope you and your family are in the best health and warmth. It’s been long since I have heard from you. Anyway, you won’t believe what I had to go through last week!

A few days back, my aunt and her daughter visited us. My mom and my aunt kept chatting over tea, when suddenly, they thought it would be a great idea for my cousin and I to bond since we had never met each other! I thought it was odd that she agreed all of a sudden. After all, we didn’t know each other. However, I shook it off. I welcomed her with open arms. She seemed friendly. Little did I know how wrong I was. The next day, I woke up to find myself in a barnyard. At least I thought it was. It took me a few seconds to realize that it was my room! She had thrown trash everywhere. By the time she left, I had fleas in my house. This continued for 48 hours straight. Being an organized and squeaky clean person, I had felt so disturbed. She hoggs the shower for 3 hours! I keep getting late for classes. When I turned on my camera, she kept making silly faces. She was my age, she had no mental health issues, so I had no reason to feel ashamed of getting irritated by her.

She left just yesterday. I feel so relieved. Those two days felt more like two weeks! If you have ever had an experience, let me know what happened and how you dealt with it!

Your friend,

Raina
