Recently our school organised mathematics day to honour the great mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan.

He was born on 22nd December 1887 in Erode district of Tamilnadu.

He became world famous for his outstanding work in the field of mathematics and published more than 3900 identities and equations in his name.

Our school conducted a small mathematics quiz in which the winner was awarded with a biography of Srinivasa Ramanujan.

Our vice principal gave a short speech on his life and works.
