 rectangular plot is 40 m long and 16 m broad. A road of uniform width of 2 m surrounds the plot inside it. Find the cost of paving the road with bricks at 15 rs per square metre and also find the cost of covering the remaining part of the plot with grass at 9 rs per square metre?

area of inside=38×14=432m2
area of road=640- 432=208m2
coast of paving road=208×15=3120rs
cost of inside grass=432×9=3888rs..
