Heya mate ...
==========

It is given that Refractive index of helium , μ = 1.55

We know,

If c is the speed of light and visited is the speed of light in medium, then the refracive index of the medium,μ is given by :-

μ = Speed of light in air / Speed of light in medium

= c / v

A/Q,

1.55 = c / v

It means if the Refractive index of the helium is 1.55 , then the ratio of speed of light in air with respect to speed of light in helium is 1.55

Hope it helps !!
