Renu bent a piece of wire into a parallelogram as shown. Later, she bent it into an
equilateral triangle. Find the length of each side of the equilateral triangle.

Here,

The dimensions of the parallelogram= 40 cm and 20 cm

It's Perimeter = 2(Length + Breadth)

= 2(40+20)

= 2(60) = 120 cm

Then , we have to find the length of each side of the equilateral triangle:

Perimeter of equilateral triangle = 120 cm

3(Side) = 120

Side = 40 cm.

The required dimensions ate of 40 cm each.
