A science exhibition was organised at St.La Salle Higher Secondary School here on Wednesday. Rev. Sr. Lee arose, Headmistress of Das Navismatha Primary School inaugurated it.
The exhibition was organised as part of the Children’s Day. A total of 200 students from Standard VI six to XI from the school across displayed innovative talents.
With the key objective of bringing out the hidden talents of students and with a focus on creating more awareness of science, technology and engineering, the exhibition was organised said, D. Peppin, Headmaster.
Correspondent Rev. Bro. Robert Selvaraj, teachers of science and other staff members were present.

AB School, Kolkata, 30th January: AB School has successfully concluded the three day inter-school science exhibition. There were fifty schools that participated in the exhibition. Each school had sent a team of three students. Each team had to display a working model and demonstrate its action.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the award winning scientist Dr. A. Mukherjee. He took a look round all the models and encouraged all the participants.
On the second day three Judges came to judge the exhibits. Each judge was a Professor of Science. On the third and concluding day the names of the winners were announced in the award giving ceremony.
XYZ School won the first prize, our school secured the second position and DFH School bagged the third prize. The prizes were given away by our revered Principal and our Science Teacher.
The Science Exhibition was a grand success. All the participants thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The Exhibition served as a platform for the future Scientists to exhibit their talent.
