Presentation of data means displaying data in a clear and attractive manner so that it can be understood and analyzed easily. Textual presentation, diagrammatic presentation and tabular presentation are some well known methods of data presentation.

The tabular method of data presentation

1. A table is a systematic organization and presentation of data in the form of rows which are horizontal arrangements and columns which are vertical arrangements.

2. The objectives of tabulation include:

i. To simplify data

ii. To do comparison

iii. To locate omissions and errors in the data

iv. To use space economically

v. To use it as future reference

3. Parts of a table include -

i. Table number

iii. Caption and stubs

iv. Body
