Teleportation is still not possible experimentally and also theoritically .Currently there are two parts to teleportation: first make two copies of an object that only differ in their quantum state, then transfer the quantum state of one onto the other.

Demonstrations of teleportation so far have all been on readily available indistinguishable particles (mainly photons).  The idea is you have photon A over here, and photon B over there, and you transfer the quantum state of photon A to photon B.  As far as we know, photon B essentially "is" what photon A was, at a different location.
