Answer:
A thermometer is a device used for measuring temperature. This ice-covered thermometer shows that the temperature is about 0 degrees Celsius, or 32 degrees Fahrenheit. If this thermometer displayed the kelvin scale, used by scientists, the temperature would read about 274.The more modern thermometer was invented in 1709 by Daniel Fahrenheit. It was an enclosed glass tube that had a numerical scale, called the Fahrenheit scale. The early version of this thermometer contained alcohol and in 1714 Fahrenheit developed a mercury thermometer using the same scale.
Laboratory thermometers are devices used to measure temperature. There are many types of lab thermometers such as differential, mechanical, logging, etc. Laboratory thermometers are progressively providing digital reading displays and are input-capable to computer and software programs for logging purposes.
CLINICAL medical thermometer is used for measuring human or animal body temperature. The tip of the thermometer is inserted into the mouth under the tongue, under the armpit, into the rectum via the anus, into the ear, or on the forehead.
