The Brazilian Amazon Rainforest, being the largest rainforest in the world, is one of the main carbon reservoirs. Not only helping in the climate balance, but also protecting 10% of the world's biodiversity and generating income sustainably for thousands of traditional communities. Deforestation and forest degradation and land use changes, which include agriculture, contribute to 24% of all Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions around the world. In Brazil, these activities resulted in 71% of all emissions in 2017 (SEEG, 2019). (SEEG, 2019) Although the Brazilian deforestation rate decreased from 2004 to 2012, these values grew again in recent years. Therefore, it is necessary to work on more innovative alternatives that value the forest standing.
