Resistance of metal wire of length 1cm is 30 oh .if the area of cross - section is 4msq.what will be the resistivity of the metal

Resistance , R = rho . (L/A)

     Resistivity, rho = R. (A/L)

                               = 30 ((4 / (10 ^ -2))

                                = 12000 ohm.m = 12 k ohm.m

Resistivity= Resistance*Area of cross section/length where length is in metre.

30*4/0.01= 12000 ohm metre
