no...both are different.......rest is that state of our body in which the body can't moves.....and motion is that state of our body in which the body is moving.....

This whole universe is in motion so nothing is at rest even if it is not changing it's position.
A person sitting in a bus and a person standing on the road.
Relatively Person sitting in the bus will see his fellow Passengers at rest but a person standing on the road will conclude the person along with the whole bus is in motion.
