Now, we have got weight in two terms, comparing both,

Original weight in variable = Original weight in kg( s )

5x = 80 kg

$x = \dfrac{80}{5}\:kg$

x = 16 kg

Therefore,

Her new weight = 3x kg =  3( 16 kg ) = 48 kg
