Rise of Napoleon Bonaparte :-
a) The rise of Napoleon was also an indirect result of the French Revolution.
b) After the fall of Jacobin government, a new constitution was made. It provided for two elected legislative council and a Directory. However the Directors often clashed with the councils, who then sought to dismiss them . Napoleon took advantage of the situation and became a dictator with the help of army .
c) In 1804 Napoleon declared himself the Emperor of France. He was a brilliant General . However his success was short lived .
