Let the principal be x
Rate of interest per annum = 12%
Time given = 3 years
S.I = rs 180
Therefore,s.i = P*T*R÷100
=x*3*12÷100
=36x ÷ 100 = 9x ÷ 25
Also, interest is rs 180
So, 9x ÷ 25 = 180
x = 180 * 25 ÷ 9
x = 500
So,principal = 500
