British government had already powered a policy of divide and rule and started torturing the Muslim communities which were I the minority at that time. Muhammad Ali Jinnah thought that the Britishers will torture the Muslims till death so he formed a group of muslim people known as the Muslim League. The Indian government was unable to take action against the torture done on Muslims because of some alliances with the British officials and some of our leaders wanted independence through non violence. So, on the proposal of British government, Jinnah agreed to the policy to form a separate country known as Pakistan today to save the people from Britishers.

Answer:

India was under control of British for about 200 years. It finally got freedom on 15th August, 1947. Many people, nationalist have sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country. One such prominent nationalist who fought for the freedom of India was Mohammad Ali Jinnah. It is said that Pakistan is created because of dispute between Jinnah and Nehru. It is often said that Jinnah played prominent role in the partition of India- Pakistan. India faced lots of problem but this was drastic decision taken by our leaders. It is difficult to say that we should be happy that we got Independence or we should be sad that we got divided with creation of Pakistan.

Jinnah was a leader of Muslim League. In the beginning he did not wished that Pakistan should be created. It was only due to some circumstances that Jinnah changed his ideology and made him demand for separate Pakistan. It be interesting to know the exact motive of Jinnah. Was it for his sole profit motive of acquiring political power? Or something else was there behind his demand? Historical researcher have proved that Jinnah played a major role in partition of India- Pakistan.
